When the moon is waning cleanse yourself and your mind by taking a ritual bath. Stare at the mirror and map out in your mind which parts of your body that need changing. Think back in your life and recall the time that you had felt beautiful and perfect. You can even choose a specific person whose figure appeals to you. Calculate a healthy weight that you want to be. After sweeping the ritual area you can cast your circle and invite the goddess Venus. She is the goddess of beauty and love and request her to aid you in your ritual. Imagine yourself reflecting the aura and beauty of the goddess through yourself. Burn the sage and sprinkle salt around the circle to protect you during this ritual. Sprinkle the flowers around the Alter and engrave the number of pounds you want to loose on to the yellow candle. Light the candles and incense. Visualise yourself slim and meditate on that vision for a while. Dance or simple meditate while feeling happy about the changes that are going to be brought about in your body over the next few weeks.
Stare into the mirror and chant the following to raise the power within you and direct it to your vision:

In today’s day and age money is a priority. People assume that one should not ask the higher power for materialistic gains. If you are asking for love, happiness or healing then asking for money should not be frowned upon. Wicca strives to improve our lives and help us grow spiritually. So if a pot of money helps you feel happy, content and free to pursue your spiritual goals then go ahead and cast the money spell.
This is one of money spells that you can do. You can simply tie a horse shoe from a black horse at the entrance of your door to bring you luck and finance. If that proves difficult then you can do the following money spell:
1 Green candle
1 Gold candle
1 silver coin
Basil leaves
Eucalyptus Incense
Frankincense oil
Sage
Salt
A glass of wine
Take a ritual bath with bath salts. Imagine your body cleansing and all the negativity and obstructions being washed away.
Sweep the ritual space with a broom. Cast a circle around your Alter and invite the natural elements to join you. Invite your deities next asking them to protect you and help you centre your power. Clear your mind of all thoughts and burn some sage to banish negativity and sprinkle salt around the circle to bar any uninvited spirits from entering. Anoint both the candles all the while visualising you happy and wealthy. Sprinkle the Basil leaves around the Alter including on top of the silver coin. Burn the candles and the incense. Dance or simply meditate on your intentions for a while.
Chant the following

Hear my plea
Grant my wish
Make me wealthy
Finish by thanking the deities and the natural elements. Close the circle and celebrate with the glass of wine. Find a tree and bury the silver coin all the while imagining it growing and fruiting like a plant. Bury it for seven days and go about your daily life without thinking about the spell. Take the coin out and wash it. Carry it with you until your prayers are answered.

Today people think of Baba Yaga, mother Shipton or the evil witches of Grimm’s fairy tales when thinking of the attributes of a witch. But if one takes the time to delve into witchcraft history then one would realise how far it is from the truth. It’s true that some had the power to cause harm but the good that they did for the society is often forgotten.
The word witch comes from an old pagan term Wicca which means casting a spell. Witches are so diverse in culture, ideas and beliefs that it’s difficult to define the meaning of witches and witchcraft. Various forms of witchcraft exist throughout the world from India to Europe though Africa is where it’s most concentrated.
Witchcraft history can be traced back to societies that relied on shamans or wise women who were seen as healers, soothsayers and advisors. They were an inherent part of society who people believed had a link between the spiritual and the physical world. They could be used as sources to find food, shelter and water or for destructive ends.

During the twelfth century the churches started eyeing the Wiccan religion suspiciously. The Church believed a secret organization was plotting its overthrow. The once respected wiccans were now seen as consorting with the devil and in Europe witchcraft was now seen in opposition to Christianity. A number of witch trials were held and thousands were convicted based on frivolous accounts of witnesses. They were tortured in cruel ways and if anyone stated that they were a witch then they were doomed. Either they were tortured till they confessed and then executed or were killed for denying the truth. A number of books were burnt on witchcraft during this time and the few remaining witches went into hiding. This makes it even harder to determine the exact history and practises of ancient wiccans. By the seventeenth century witch hunts had spread to America and the terrible witch craft trials ensued.
After the end of the bloody witch trials it took a long time for the witches to come out into the open. But their faith in their craft stayed on and their brave conviction to keep their stories and secrets alive paved a way for the new age witches. Gerald Gardener and Doreen Valeinte revived the Wiccan culture during the 1950’s. Witchcraft popularity has been growing everyday since and so is the belief that a religion such as Wicca can offer a chance to attain a higher spiritual growth.

You maybe convinced that a certain person is the right person but if they are it will happen naturally with the spell by focussing on simply finding your true love. Have faith in the higher power to bring the right person into your life for your perfect fairytale ending.
Things you will need
A pink candle for love
A red candle for passion
A white candle for a peaceful relationship
Rose oil or rose essence
Jasmine oil or essence
A pink crystal to strengthen your spell
Incense
Sage to purify and cleanse
Rose petals
Cauldron or a pot with water
Salt to protect
Athame to cast the circle
Start with a ritual cleansing bath. Light numerous candles and use lots of scented oil and salts. Feeling good and looking your best is important during this casting.
Cast your circle in your ritual space and begin by burning the sage and incense. Invoke the higher beings to aid you and protect you. Facing each direction ask for earth, water, fire, air and spirit to assist you. Begin anointing the candles one by one starting from the bottom and moving upwards. As you anoint your candles imagine yourself happily in love with the right man by your side. Visualisation is important, but again refrain from thinking about any specific person. Light the candles and take a cauldron or a pot of water and add the rose petals. With your wand swirl the petals around all the while chanting
Earth, Fire water and air,
See your daughter sitting here,
By the light of moon and sky above,
Grant my wish, bring me my true love.
So mote it be.
You can put on music now and start dancing or chant to focus your energies towards your intentions. Close the circle and thank the deities and the elements for their protection and help. Celebrate by eating a festive meal and drinking some wine.
Your spell is now cast. Do not agonise over the outcome. The trick of making spells work is to have faith in your power within.

Witchcraft has an animistic world view. It believes that all creations in the universe have a life force. This life force is like a web draped over the universe, the threads of which can be manipulated to bring about a change in the pattern of nature itself. The individuals that can bring about such changes are called witches or wiccans. The wiccans, through study and practise can effect the desired changes by following certain rituals. By working closely with nature and understanding the larger truth of the cosmos they can create changes in the physical, emotional or the spiritual world. The rituals that help realise the wiccans intentions are known as spell casting.
The basic law of witchcraft states that what you will do, will be done unto you three times over, be it good or evil. The novice witch needs to realise that the intentions behind the spell should be clear and every word and visualisation needs to be precise and meditated upon. It should be performed after learning about Wicca in depth either through time tested books, covens or an experienced witch.
If you understand the Witches way of life and are ready to cast your spells then remember to bide by the Wiccan laws and do it in love and harm no one. There are a number of different ways in which one can cast a spell. It could be simple and consist of the most basic tools and a few rhymed lines while others can be much more complex.
Before you begin the actual casting you need to accumulate certain ritual tools.
A novice should start with his/her own book of shadows and write down all the spells, rituals or spiritual experiences and results. This will help you to better understand the nuances of spell craft.
Next an appropriate ritual space should be found and cleansed. The various charms and objects needed for the particular spell should be gathered. The colour of the candles, the types of Incense, Essences, herbs, oils, would depend on the spell. Incense sticks and herbs like sage are burnt to cleanse the circle. Salt may be sprinkled and amulets used for protection. An Athame is used to cast the circle and crystals can improve the strength of the spell.
The first step towards casting is a ritual cleansing bath. Soft music can be played in the background to relax the mind. Casting spells is meant to be a joyous experience. You can dance your way to your Alter and begin by casting the circle. This is the centre of power where you will invoke various deities to aid you in your task. The various elements like earth, water, fire, air and spirit are also invoked by facing their respective directions. Chant or sing your intention in a rhymed verse. Visualise your goal and feel it being accomplished. Increase your chant or dance to raise the energy and direct that energy towards your goal. Focus and bask in the thrill of what you want coming true. Thank the element, deities and nature for aiding you and protecting you. Close the circle and celebrate the end with a ritual feast and a glass of wine. Your spell is cast.
